Other countries have implementedpolicies to regulate unhealthy food marketing tochildren, which can serve as models for the US. Theamount of money spent on advertising sugary drinksand unhealthy foods to children is staggering, andadvertising restrictions could reduce childhood obesityrates. Abstract

Childhood obesity is a significant public health concernwith long-term health consequences for children.Despite various efforts to promote healthy lifestyles,statistics continue to indicate upward trends foroverweight youths. Companies marketing unhealthyfoods to children are contributing to this problem,making it necessary to implement mandatory guidelinesand policy solutions.
