Abstract
Defining the required performance for any two axis gimbal system is an important and complex task. In order to define the system requirements, it is first necessary to define the system application. The basic structure of the system is presented and a performance analysis required for the two axis gimbal system in application in multisensory imaging system devices is given. The methods of verification of specified performances were discussed and a practical guide was given for the selection of the basic components of the system based on the defined required performances.
