Abstract
The Rossler chaotic systems are synchronized using adaptive backstepping with modular design, despite the differences between characterizing parameters and initial conditions. Hence global stability and asymptotic synchronization between the outputs of master and slave systems can be achieved. The effectiveness of the approach is shown by simulation results.
