Abstract

This paper is devoted to the elaboration of a modern algorithm for distributed generation control in order to reduce the consumer electricity costs. The use of advanced model predictive control is proposed as a mechanism for the output power management of distributed generation units. The advantage of using the advanced model predictive control is that it takes into account the calculation flow model and the unbalanced energy value of the previous dispatch interval. This model can be implemented in the power supply systems of consumers for distributed generation control by means of energy forecasting for the day ahead at the grid nodes.
