Kapittel 13. Besøksforbud som beskyttelsestiltak

Abstract

The Norwegian measure Protection order was introduced in Norwegian law in 1995. The purpose of the provision is to protect victims of domestic violence from violence, threats and harassment. The chapter discusses to what extent the provision works in line with the legislator’s intentions, and the eventual reasons for eventual deficiencies in police practices.
