Abstract
Traditional software design methodologies focus on diagramming the process flows and system states for specific tasks and technologies. Because the design of social software tools must take into consideration the many technologies, people, and organizations involved in these ecologies, this paper illustrates a new method for diagramming these participants based on actor network theory (ANT).
