Abstract
This paper presents some the ways that modern business managers have attempted to economize and gain efficiency in the acquisition of technical services. Each of the categories of outsourced technical services have advantages and disadvantages when compared to the others. This paper describes some of the good and bad characteristics of each type. These comments are based on the author's own experiences and observations and others may disagree with the author.
