Systematische Einheit. Kants Einleitung in die Kritik der Urteilskraft und ihre Rezeption bei Fichte

Abstract

The contribution confronts Kant’s system-architectonic self-interpretation in the Introduction of the Critique of the Power of Judgment with the latter’s system-logical reinterpretation and metacritique by Fichte. The dual focus of the contribution lies on the mediating function of the Critique of the Power of Judgment between the Critique of Pure Reason and the Critique of Practical Reason in Kant and on Fichte’s reading of Kant’s three Critiques as successive presentations of a threefold absolute, to which Fichte opposes his own conception of a predisjunctive, absolute unity of being and consciousness under the guise of knowledge, reason or logos.
