PSS®E Xplore 34 was used for the simulation. The results show that single transmission line outage may impact generator power factors, increase demand of reactive power from the generators, and overload other transmission lines. Transmission line outage may lead to several violations of system constraints leading to islanding. Abstract

With the recent blackouts in Texas, Manhattan, and NE US, the importance of analyzing outage is greater than ever. IEEE 39总线网络的单线中断分析
