Abstract

The Intelligent Network makes it possible to quickly and effectively introduce a wide variety of telecommunication services into the public network, and to provide new flexibility and capabilities inside the network which enable to define services from outside the network. This paper proposes the concepts for the Intelligent Network service definition and execution environment independent of specific services and physical resource characteristics. It also explains service control technologies under a three layered network architecture.
