Abstract

Decolorization of azo dye Reactive Black 5 (RB5) in an aqueous solution was investigated using Fe-Clamshell as heterogeneous catalyst. Preliminary study shows acid activated Fe-Clamshell has better activity to decolorize RB5 compared to the catalyst without acid activation.
