Abstract

A compact frequency-reconfigurable antenna with operating in two modes is presented. By controlling the state of the PIN-diode switch, the proposed antenna can work as either a narrowband antenna covering 5.85-6.5GHz for C-Band communication or a band-notched UWB antenna ranging from 3.1 to 10.6GHz with a filtered band 5.15-5.825 GHz for WLAN system.
