Europe progresses fast towards ADS-B implementation. ADS-B operations will first happen at local sites from 2009 and will be followed by a more widespread implementation from around 2015 onwards, based on a European Commission Implementing Rule. Abstract
The paper outlines the status and plans for the implementation of automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) in Europe.
