Digital Ecosystem and Digital Transformation in the Vietnam Electricity Corporation

Abstract

Currently, digital transformation is a great need for Vietnamese businesses. To build adigital transformation strategy, they need to have a good understanding of digital economy, digitaltransformation, and digital ecosystem. This paper therefore provides a review of digital economy,digital transformation theories in order to build a concept of digital ecosystem. The paper also studiesthe digital transformation carried out by the Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN), identifyingfactors that affect the Corporation’s ecosystem, and ranking those factors in the Corporation’s digitaltransformation, and proposing a basis for the its leaders to build an effective and reasonable digitaltransformation strategy.
