Abstract

In this paper, a passive millimeter wave imaging method for exponential rough surface is presented, Moreover, the passive millimeter wave imaging methods based on rough surface and theoretical model of rough surface reflection are introduced. In order to study the influence of rough surface type on passive millimeter wave imaging, the models of Gaussian rough surface and exponential rough surface are established and simulated. Finally, the comparison results of brightness temperature value between Gaussian rough surface and exponential rough surface show that when the roughness changes, the brightness temperature value of Gaussian rough surface and that of exponential rough surface have similar changes, and the brightness temperature of Gaussian rough surface is larger than that of exponential rough surface.
