Abstract
This paper introduces a dynamic CAC (call admission control) method for CDMA networks. We give a short description of the theoretical CAC decision and show that the task of CAC can be regarded as a space separation problem and the tail distribution estimation problem. We also refer to a static, effective bandwidth based CAC, that has been compared to our dynamic method. Finally we investigate and validate the efficiency of the introduced CAC method for WCDMA system by means of simulations in MATLAB environment. The presented simulation results underline the efficiency of the proposed solution
