Abstract

In order to deal with the nonlinear structure and time-varying characteristics of intelligent vehicle (IV) systems, this paper presents an idea of pattern-space-cover to construct IV lateral motion model. The construction method is deduced based on fuzzy C means (FCM) algorithm and can validate cluster the sampled data set. Cluster domains are clear, and the subspaces are partitioned distinctly. It provides a theoretical basis for the construction of IV motion pattern-space. The simulation results show that the method is effective and feasible.
