Abstract

Supply chain performance assessment have become essential needs for all businesses confronting of fierce competition, especially small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). They enable SMEs to indicate supply chain strategies for strengthening more competitiveness and gaining more competitive advantages. There are numerous tools for assessing SMEs' performance along their supply chain activities, namely Generic decision support system to Leverage supply chain performance (GLE) of Boonsothonsatit (2017) [2], and Supply Chain Performance Assessment Tool (SCPAT) of Banomyong and Supatn (2011) [3]. However, both of the tools were regardless of the Order Penetration Point (OPP). This paper aims to develop OPP-based cAusal Linkages (OPAL) to systematically evaluate supply chain performance as an extension of SCPAT and GLE. The developed OPAL were successfully validated in an industrial case.
