Abstract

A method of constructing preconditioners for the IEODDM is proposed, and it needs a two-level decomposition, in which level-1 subdomain corresponds to the basic IE-ODDM subdomain, and level-2 subdomain is used to build preconditioners for Krylov subspace solver for each level-1 extended region. Numerical results show that the number of Krylov subspace iterations for a subdomain solution is greatly reduced compared with the previous IE-ODDM.
