The regulated power supplies of these convertors have wide application in the areas like industrial automation, digital systems, charging stations etc. where in a low voltage, high current with low ripple power supply has significant role. Abstract

During the rise of space technology in 1960 which led to the increase in development of power supplies that are efficient, highly reliable, light weight and small. The ideas were injected by the researchers and engineers in the field of power electronics and switch mode power supplies came into existence. Analysis and design of DC–DC convertors which offers high efficiency, small convertors with the implementation of isolation transformer can have numerous outputs of various magnitude and polarities. The regulated power supplies of these convertors have wide application in the areas like industrial automation, digital systems, charging stations etc. where in a low voltage, high current with low ripple power supply has significant role.
