The overall size of system ground plane is 200mm×260mm×0.8mm and the size of the MIMO antennas with an isolation element is 5mm×40mm×2.8mm. There are two monopole antennas with two arms and grounded metal loop with two chopped corners in the design. The monopole with two arms could produce the modes to cover the bands 3.4-4.2 GHz, 4.4-5GHz, 5.15-5.35GHz, 5.725-5.825GHz, and the grounded metal loop with two chopped corners can effectively reduce the mutual coupling effect between two antennas. The simulated radiation efficiencies are larger than 75%, and the simulated antenna gains are about 2dBi.
