Abstract

This paper proposes a control method for the transmission rate of haptic media to avoid network congestion in audiovisual and haptic interactive communications using TCP. The previous study has proposed a media-adaptive buffering control for QoE enhancement of audiovisual and haptic interactive communications over UDP.
