A Review on the Transformation of Foreign Trade Development Patterns and Future Prospects

Abstract

The transformation of trade development mode (TTDM) is an important driving force for improving the quality of economic development in China, the main content of the construction of the new open economy system, and it is also an important embodiment of implementing the new idea of economic development and the actual effects of the supply side structural reform. First of all, my paper collates the researches on the connotation and necessity of TTDM. More than that it summarizes the differences before and after the transformation in the aspects of guideline, policy objectives and corporate strategy; after that an analysis on the study of TTDM effect appraise, transformation patterns and dynamic mechanism is carried out. This paper also points out some issues such as the urgent need for the perfection of its knowledge and methods. Finally, it provides an outlook for its future researches and proposes a method based on QCA and SNA, which analyzes the configuration of factors in TTDM, develops the research on the nodes characteristics of China in the world trade net, as well as deepens the understanding and researches for TTDM.
