Abstract

A fast transmit-phase optimization scheme is described for a moving target in wireless energy transfer (WET) with distributed antennas. A transmit-phase inversion technique is sequentially applied to subset antennas used for dedicated energy beamforming (DEB). The received signal phase of each subset transmit antenna is estimated at a receiver and then fed back to a WET transmit-phase control unit.
