Tidal currents where rivers are influenced by several factors, one of which is wind. The current will move the flow of water masses from one place to another. To determine the movement of current patterns, especially in the estuary of the Kapuas River, modeling is used with the help of MIKE 21 Software. The data used in this modeling are coastline data obtained from Google Earth, bathymetric data from National Bathymetry (batnas), tidal data from the Indonesian Geospatial Reference System. From the processing of these data, the results obtained from this study produce how large the distribution of currents caused by tidal movements at the mouth of the Kapuas River.
