Determinan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi dan tingkat kemiskinan

Abstract

Economic growth is a problem of a country's economy in the long run. Economic growth measures the achievement of the development of an economy from one period to the next. The relatively high economic growth will greatly affect the level of poverty, because with a growing economy there will be a lot of production of goods and services produced by an area, which in turn will absorb labor, so that the income per capita of the population is higher which in turn will reduce poverty rate in an area. The method used in this research is quantitative data analysis method and data analysis method using a path diagram with 6 dimensions of measurement namely, Investment, Infrastructure Expenditures, Revenue Sharing, Job Opportunities, Economic Growth and Poverty Rate in Penajam Paser Utara District in 2008-2018. All independent variables in this study have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Penajam Paser Utara Regency, and all independent variables also have a negative and significant effect on poverty levels in Penajam Paser Utara District.
