The Criteria of Neologism in Visual Media

Abstract

Neologism is a new branch of linguistics. Less tackling in dealing with the standards and foundations of this science in the Kurdish language is found, so  (Standards of neologism in visual media) is preferred as a title for this study in which its standards, foundations and fields related to the Kurdish lexicon were presented, as well as analyzing the effectiveness of this science in the Kurdish language based on models from visual media. Further, it was found that despite the effectiveness of the rules producing the word and the term, still the Neologisms has an important role in the production and innovation of new words.
