Therefore, the investigation, research, evaluation of chemical composition and screening of potential bioactive substances from plants of the genus Elsholtzia, especially those endemic to Vietnam, will be of great scientific and practical significance, actively contributing to the rational exploitation and use of the country's natural resources, thereby orienting the application of Elsholtzia essential oil in research and develops a number of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Using the method of extracting essential oils by steam distillation and the evaluation of antibacterial activity by agar diffusion method with the following contents: Results analysis, evaluation and screening of essential oils of some species of the genus Elsholtzia with biological activity obtained in different regions.
