Abstract

The integration of photovoltaic source (PVS), brings new challenges to power system operation. This paper proposed the determination of the optimal site and size of PVS in electrical network using differential evolution (DE) method considering technical and security constraints to minimize active loss. The DE technique is applied on Algerian 114 bus power system using MATLAB software.
