Abstract

The use of information and communication technology in the educational process is extensive, which largely increases the value and the form of obtained knowledge and information. This paper describes the methodology of creating time-lapse videoclips using advanced ICT for educational purposes in obtaining earth resources. Used methods, equipments and software are widely available and can be used in different areas of teaching, where is difficult to transfer real world objects and process into a presentable way for the purposes of education. The proposed methods and procedures represent a unique way of visualizing surface mining operations and the outcome can be used directly in the educational process, or by e-learning.
