Abstract

To build a numerical model of dynamic processes in armored hull of lightly armored vehicle, the scale model of its upper projection was studied. Its numerical and experimental research was carried out in parallel. The natural frequencies and natural forms of oscillations of the scale model are determined. Its response to impulse excitation is also determined. On this basis, the parameters of the finite element model are established, which provide satisfactory accuracy of numerical modeling of the scale model dynamic stress-strain state and a full-scale sample of the armored hull of lightly armored vehicle.
