Abstract
The purpose of the study is to reveal the factors and conditions for the formation of speech competence in the practical course of the Russian language at a technical university. The article focuses on the need to update the content of the professional training of future specialists in the formation of speech competencies in the preparation of bachelor students of a technical profile in the Russian language classes. Scientific novelty lies in the practical development of students' language skills in their professional field. As a result of the study, the need for motivation in the study of the Russian language and its ways to captivate students with the Russian language were substantiated.
