While humans primarily serve as the definitive hosts for Taenia asiatica, T. saginata, and T. solium, they can also become intermediate/accidental hosts for larval forms (metacestodes) of Taenia crassiceps, T. multiceps, T. serialis, T. solium, and T. Abstract
