Diabetes, a chronic metabolic disorder affecting millions worldwide, relies heavily on a stable and efficient supply chain for insulin, a life-saving hormone. However, the insulin supply chain faces multifaceted challenges that can disrupt access to this essential medication. In the realm of diabetes management, a novel and devastating occurrence has emerged—a severe shortage of insulin. This case report revolves around a singular clinical encounter that showcases a series of remarkable and uncommon aspects, which can enrich the knowledge of healthcare professionals.
