Abstract
This article touches upon the problem of the influence of the film industry on the perception of historical events by the audience. Today, more and more people interested in history are learning about certain historical events through films and TV series, which cannot but cause concern about the possibility of distortion of historical facts. In this study, various manipulative tools and film technologies used by directors and screenwriters to influence the perception of the viewer were considered.
