Abstract

The influence of the water content on the compressive strength of the soil – corn stalk fibres – water mixture is analysed in this study. The clay soil is mixed with corn stalk fibres with a water volume variation of 16 to 20% in increments of 1% to produce concrete samples stored in an enclosure at room temperature.
