Abstract

This paper presents the results of a study to determine the influence of casting parameters (cooling rate in the casting mould, casting temperature) on the primary structure of Mg-4%Li-1%Ca alloy ingots. The macro-and microstructure analysis of the Mg-4%Li-1%Ca alloy was performed using light and electron microscopy techniques.
