It has been widely utilized in the Ayurvedic medical system and is prescribed as "Bhringraj" by some Ayurvedic doctors. In India, a weed known as "Jayanti Veda" is called Tridax procumbens L. Asteraceae's Tridax Procumbens Linn., sometimes known as coat buttons.
