A basic technological scheme for the production of bentonite fillers and organobentonite is presented. Abstract

The article proposes a redox mechanism for the bleaching of bentonite lump red clay and produces fillers for white paints and varnishes. Nanostructures of different types have been studied: intercalation compounds, delaminated nanocomposites, and mixed-type nanocomposites.
