Abstract
The rationale for updating the List of main process equipment operated in the case of application of the best available technologies (BAT) is given. The state of production of the Russian food machinebuilding industry is shown. It has been established that there are examples of effective equipment that meets the requirements for technical equipment of BAT. A number of equipment has been proposed for inclusion in the List.
