Abstract
The technology of teaching English to students of non–linguistic universities is a sequence of processes, operations and teaching methods that form a holistic methodological system, which leads to the formation of professional and communicative competence of the future specialist in a foreign language to achieve educational goals guaranteed to be implemented in teaching practice. The given article discusses the problems of teaching field terms to learners, whose major is not linguistics.
