Abstract
The article analyzes the changes in the provision of state support measures to small and medium-sized busi-nesses in 2021–2022. The results of the study make it possible to consider the dynamics of the implementation of state aid measures, as well as the reaction to them on the part of business. It is worth noting that the list of protective measures for entrepreneurship initiated by the state is constantly expanding, which creates a favora-ble platform for business development. The present article proposes to divide them conditionally into the fol-lowing groups: financial, property, consulting, informational and educational. The criteria for a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses are be-ing introduced, which will make it possible to justify the need to prolong some of them, which have demonstrat-ed high performance, or to identify “weak” places to intensify work on the definition of new algorithms to im-prove the sustainability of small and medium-sized businesses.
