Abstract
The results of the implementation of the subprogram “Development of selection and seed production of sugar beets in the Russian Federation” of the Federal Scientific and Technical Program for the Development of Agriculture for 20172030 (FSTDP) are presented. The authors consider the created hybrids, their yield and sugar content in different regions, the paths for improving the sugar beet seed production system and the measures of state support for the production of domestically selected seeds.
