Abstract
Behavioral safety audit is the main tool for improving the level of safety culture. PAB is a process based on observation of an employee's actions (behavior) while he performs a production task, his work area/location, and a subsequent conversation between the employee and the auditor. The article reveals the meaning of the PAB tool, how it differs from inspections, how to properly prepare a company to improve the level of safety culture and begin conducting behavioral safety audits.
