LINGUISTIC PECULIARITIES OF OPPOSITIONS WITHIN ONE AND WITHIN TWO NOMINATIONS (BASED ON ENGLISH ECONOMIC TERMS)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of linguistic peculiarities of oppositions between English economic terms, as opposed within one and within two nominations. Within one nomination, we consider the classification of oppositions according to part-of-speech appurtenance and according to the method of forming relations. Within two nominations, we investigate the realization of oppositions based on word-formation, oppositions due to lexico-semantic means, as well as the joint implementation of oppositions based on word-formation and due to lexico-semantic means. As more specific tasks, we analyze grammatical categories, parts of speech and derivational parts of the word from the point of view of implementing the opposition between antonymic elements.
