Abstract

This article features strategies to instruct the competencies in Domains 2, 6 and 10, i.e., respectively, Person-Centered Care, Interprofessional Partnership, and Personal, Professional, and Leadership Development, of American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) 2021 core competencies for entry- and advanced-level psychiatric mental health nursing courses. These three Domains feature scientific knowledge, effective communication skills and collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals in diverse clinical situations, and lifelong learning and leadership, which are essential in nursing practice.
