Diverticule de Meckel : une cause rare d’occlusion intestinale aiguë

Abstract

Le diverticule de Meckel est la malformation congénitale gastro-intestinale la plus fréquente [Lequet J, Menahem B, Alves A, Fohlen A, Mulliri A. Meckel's diverticulum in the adult. J Visc Surg 2017;154:253–9]. Il s’agit d’un reliquat du canal ophtalmo-mésentérique. Des complications du diverticule peuvent s’observer comme l’inflammation et la perforation, l’hémorragie et l’occlusion [Dumper J, Mackenzie S, Mitchell P, Sutherland F, Quan ML, Mew D. Complications of Meckel's diverticula in adults. Can J Surg 2006;49:353–7]. Nous rapportons le cas d’un diverticule de Meckel révélé par une occlusion intestinale aiguë.

Meckel's diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract [Lequet J, Menahem B, Alves A, Fohlen A, Mulliri A. Meckel's diverticulum in the adult. J Visc Surg 2017;154:253–9]. It results from incomplete obliteration of the vitelline (omphaloenteric) duct. Observed diverticulum complications include inflammation and perforation, hemorrhage and obstruction [Dumper J, Mackenzie S, Mitchell P, Sutherland F, Quan ML, Mew D. Complications of Meckel's diverticula in adults. Can J Surg 2006;49:353–7]. We are reporting on a case of Meckel's diverticulum revealed by acute intestinal obstruction.
