Abstract

EuD4TEA crystals have a few fascinating properties, such as photoluminescence and mechanoluminescence. Both phenomena occur when external excitation is performed on EuD4TEA crystals. Photoluminescence is excited by external light radiation, whereas mechanoluminescence is stimulated by an external mechanical force applied to it.
