This method has been mathematically proven, and validated through the use of Monte Carlo simulation. Abstract
A novel approach has been proposed to effectively separate cascaded and closely packed full energy peaks in the energy spectrum of γ detector arrays. By conducting a sequence of γ-γ coincidence analyses on the energy spectrum, it is feasible to obtain a spectrum that represents the product of these packed peaks.
