Abstract

(Abstracted from JAMA 2023;330:1991–1999 Worldwide, about 10% of pregnancies are affected by an abnormal rise in maternal blood pressure (BP). Individuals whose BP remains high 6 weeks after birth are more likely to have higher BP 5 to 10 years later.
